fun to work with.

postmodernism has many manifestations: philosophical, sociological and cultural. but we are particularly interested in its impact on architecture and design. the rebellion against the dominant and rigid „classical modernism“ thrived above all on fun, irony and eclecticism. And „work“ in particular, as a serious and often boring activity, can certainly benefit from a bit of fun. perhaps that’s exactly the purpose of this table.

custom made oval desk, dining or console table in a postmodern style. the oval top is laminated with a squiggle pattern and framed by a semicircular rubber edge. the yellow metal legs are set in cast-iron feet shaped like a pointed roof and covered with black rubber. the table shows some signs of wear and use from over the years.
