deer-brown.

Sold, sorry.

Our second newcomer is also a little rarity. Produced in the middle of the Sixties according to customer’s request, the wooden shell was sanded very smooth and painted black, the smooth leather is painted deer brown. The leather on the armrests and the ottoman could not be saved, fortunately our Vitra restorers could find an old original leather in stock, which has exactly the same colour. Until the beginning of the Seventies lounge chairs were padded with down inlays, later with cold foam. These down inlays have been completely refurbished, i.e. the cold foam part at the bottom has been renewed, the down cushion above has been „professionally shaken“ and filled with additional down. If we use additional down, it comes from a certified company in southern Germany where no „live plucking“ is used.
