everything is possible with the pedestal table.

the versatile classic, designed by george nelson in 1954, was initially produced in 2 sizes with black or white legs and table plates made from chipboard, the edge of the table covered with birch wood, with white or grey hard plastic finish. in 1961 the variant with the aluminium base was added.

and then, of course, there are the exceptions. Like this small table here, which is a real rarity, because the table top is not made of pressed chipboard as usual, but built up from many individual layers of veneer.  These tables were produced in a small series in the early 1970s. 

The Action Office sticker under the tabletop suggests that the side table came with an Action Office set. It has been lovingly restored by our Vitra Certified Restorer and is in very good condition.
