The Modus chair series was developed in 1972 by the Tecno Design Center to extend the Graphis office system with a multi-functional chair.
The aim of the Modus project was to create not just one chair, but a whole series of chairs. The clever combination of different components resulted in a system that met the different environments and requirements.
The basic element of these multiple solutions is a polished nylon seat shell in black and white. There are two basic variants: Mode stacking chairs that can be mounted on a custom polished die-cast aluminium frame with optional upholstery and armrests; and Modus swivel chairs on a 5-spoke polished die-cast aluminium frame with optional upholstery, armrests, height adjustment, on feet or castors.
This bar stool set is continuously height-adjustable and rotatable and very comfortable.
