‚borkenhagen lies down‘. after participating in documenta 8 and X, florian borkenhagen has exhibited in new york, cologne, basel and hamburg over the last few years. his 2019 project „aufwachraum“ (recovery room) seems like an anticipation of a world that awakens from a bad dream. the central object, a mobile hospital bed, will be his place during the vernissage.
’schittny hangs‘. burkhard schittny studied at central saint martins college of art and design, london. his repertoire includes photography, moving images and performance. the minimalist objects of his „tubes“ series remix geometric abstraction and op-art, reflecting the world in changing perspectives – but leaving up to the viewer what he sees up there.
