A pair of PH Plates.
Poul Henningsen again, another luminaire that provides glare-free light.
The PH Plate (Tallerken) was designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for the Langelinie Pavilion in Copenhagen, surrounded by water. And that’s, where Henningsen got some inspiration: The shade mimics the circular waves that occur when a stone is thrown into the water. The lamp is made of copper, the inside of the rings are coated white. Currently we have a nice pair with strong patina in our showroom, newly wired by our electrician.
