a french garden lounge chair.
This lounge chair caught our eye because of its clean, modern lines. In simplicity lies beauty and yet we believe precisely that this simply, clear beauty, this balance of proportions, is most difficult to design.
The legs are a special feature, square in basic shape, they become thicker towards the bottom, offering more stability. We found it on the French Atlantic coast, yet it reminds us of the modernism that emerged on the Cote d’Azur from the 1930s onwards, especially the wonderful beach villa E-1027 by Eileen Gray.
